A Left Brain – Right Brain Thing

It’s a left brain – right brain thing.

For a left brained person like myself, it’s a stretch to see the full value of art and music after so many hours a day in front of text characters and 32x32 icons.  I suppose plants and paintings could improve creative UI development.

I just found some very vibrant colored paintings on the web from someone that I knew many years back.  I then considered my musical interests of yester-year.  It’s very interesting how we can manage project schedules, write cool applications, test software, and blog here and there but neglect any real quality art or music to round us out at the end of the week.  If we could mix the two without being a game developer.  On the other hand, these are exciting times in technology so who wants to bang on a piano anyway?
