Like the new NHL logo? Life keeps getting better for NHL fans! Today, the owners retified the CBA (suprise? um, no!), which will be announced in a 3pm EST press conference.

An hour later, 4 pm EST is the draft lottery for the rights to Sidney Crosby, who is hockey's version of LeBron James!! GO STARS!!!!!!!! I can only wish! For those who are interested, here is everything you can imagine about Sidney - The Crosby Show!

Both press conferences will be held on www.nhl.com as well as www.tsn.ca.

Oh yeah ... I'm so glad that there will be hockey this year. Interesting changes to the logo. First thing I noticed was the color change and then I noticed that the text slopes up to the right instead of down.

I'm a little sentimental about the old color scheme though.
