Microsoft is waving goodbye to Symantec and McAfee

Sometime back I was struggling for slammer "the One minutes shutdown" virus although I was having all updated anti-virus and windows XP 2.
Hope windows one code give better features for this.

Microsoft is waving goodbye to Symantec and McAfee it seems. On Tuesday, the company opened the doors to its Windows One-Care Live beta, a PC protection and maintenance service that offers an antivirus and firewall, along with tune-up and backup functionality.

I hope you understand that any tool market MS enters is gives the kiss of death to ISVs whether small or not. The shockwave has just begun.

I waved goodbye to Symantec and McAfee ages ago. They both suck. I now use Avast.
