Yes, the WideOpen Web is full of possibilities!

I just completed my (initial) selection for my MIX08 experience.  I look forward to seeing the upcoming innovations for the "WideOpen Web".   With all the new technologies coming from Microsoft, it certainly feels like we developers are writing the future of what the web experience will be.

Upon registration at MIX08, I received a white bag filled with conference goodies.  Here are the items I really appreciate:

I just read a blog from Tim Heuer regarding a new concept at MIX this year - Open Space.  The idea here is that the attendee has a strong influence over the direction of topics discussed.  I am very interested in seeing how this play out.  The concept is very similar to how the Phoenix Silverlight User Group is managed.

Day four of my CCNA training at [itt] began with a discussion of the OSPF protocol.  Then we learned about EIGRP.  The day ended with optimizing the expanded LAN using switched internetworking.  I really enjoyed how Mike Storm explained VLANs.  All the content was a great continuation from day three.
