INETA Community Champs Program, I’m a winner!
After seeing so many of my DNN brethren take home awards from INETA for Q3 2008 I must say I was a little jealous. Well guess who’s an INETA Community Champion Award Winner for Q4 2008! I’ve not been quite as active over the past month with the holidays and writing the book, but I am wrapping back up my community efforts as we speak. There are some new exciting things coming down the pipe relating to DotNetNuke so stay tuned in 2009!
So what does the Community Champs Award mean? Well check it out for yourself:
The purpose of the INETA Community Champion Award program is to recognize individuals with the highest levels of contributions. Those exceptional leaders and volunteers who devote innumerable hours towards hosting user group meetings, organizing Code Camps and special events, mentoring and supporting their members, publishing newsletters, updating web sites, and the list goes on and on. The Community Champion program provides INETA with an opportunity to showcase the efforts of our user group communities as a whole as well as provide individual recognition. Recognition that we hope will open doors to networking opportunities, potential sponsors, future employers or partnerships. www.ineta.org
If you’re looking for a DotNetNuke presentation at an upcoming user group meeting be sure to get your group recognized with INETA, they provide speakers and other swag for meetings. The INETA Speaker’s Bureau is a great way to get some of the best .NET talent to come to your groups to give presentations, and you know who just happens to be on the Speakers Bureau!
Thanks to Everyone in the DotNetNuke community for helping me along the way!
