CruiseControl.NET 0.7 RC1 is out
I have been setting up projects under CruiseControl.NET and it has been a fantastic experience. Now that CruiseControl.NET supports multiple projects, it is flexible enough to support our very complex projects. I will try to post some examples for those getting started with complex projects so that you don't have to go through my initial pain of getting everything setup.

The next four years are brought to you by the letter "W" and the number "1"
Wow, what an election! I stayed up until 1:30 when Ohio was called for Bush by Fox Network. Since I had to get up for work at 5:30am, it is going to be a long day, but it was worth it! I'm sure that unless Kerry concedes defeat, this will get all dragged out in the courts again, but I am confident that the result will be the same.

Congrats to the Boston Red Sox!
Congratulations to the Boston Red Sox for breaking the "curse" and winning the World Series last night!

log4net release schedule?
The last release of log4net was 1.2.0 Beta 8, released in July 2003. Now I know that a lot of things have been changed in the code. I am just wondering how long we have to wait for another release?

Working with IHTMLDocument2...
I am working on a project that requires us to have a web browser embedded in our windows application. This is relatively easy to do if you are using the load to bring in an external URL or a URL pointing to temp file. But I wanted to be able to use an XSLT stylesheet and transform some xml into HTML, without saving to a temp file. I found you are able to use the GetBody and change the innerHTML of that element, but you can't change anything above body. (I want to change the inner/outer HTML of the Document.)

Clean build with Windows XP SP2
I always use XPCreate to a Windows XP CD/DVD with all the drivers/software/settings that I like so that when (not if) I rebuild my machine, I always have the latest service packs and hotfixes slipstreamed into my DVD.

Much ado about provider design patterns
After reading Rob Howard's post, his MSDN article, and the reply from Nick Berardi, I decided to make a few comments.
The framework that I have started testing and using is from Deyan Petrov's Data Access & Transaction Handling Framework that he posted on Code Project. -
Onfolio -- Check It Out!!
After reading Scoble's review on Onfolio, I downloaded it and tried it out. Very cool! As someone who's favorites folder is huge and wildly out of control, this will be a real live saver! I can't say that I expect any less from JJ & Jeremy Allaire. I used to work for Allaire (now Macromedia) while I lived in Boston and it was one of the best experiences of my life. They came out with products that their customers wanted instead of trying to force what they wanted on their customers. I also saw that Charles Teague, my former boss, is one of the co-founders at Onfolio. Fantastic work guys!
