well recently i bought my loaded Vostro 1720 on thank giving but some how my touchpad was bothering me a lot.The touchpad is such a way that somehow it get active when you type something.I wonder why my mouse curser move randomly well,definitly this would be a problem in day to day software like.My buddy (Sushil) suggest me to disable mouse sensitivity from keyboard but unfortunately could not found any setting on my windows 7.

Install “Dell Vostro 1720 Notebook Alps TouchPad" …you will all set.

Somebody suggest Synaptics Pointing Device Driver
