  • What I am reading here is that an Israeli is much more direct in his words than an american, and that this is much easier to understand.

    I like this attitude, and I wish that other americans recognized the benefit of speaking in a more direct, less ego-centric fashion. The native americans called this "speaking with a straight tongue" , and accused americans of lacing their words with hidden meanings and nuances.

    I wonder... is this an american/israeli cultural difference or is this a american/(european and eastern world) kind of difference?

    I am an american, in case you were wondering.
