The enterprise architecture starting package
This package is the first in series that cover the entire enterprise architecture work. The package breaks the phase into simple steps based on our experience. Each step map to one of the leading enterprise architecture frameworks, relevant patterns, article and books (the article and books columns didn't finfish yet.) and estimated time. The package based on style and each step got equivalent to the style. I choose "special operations" because as in special operations this phase collects data and prepare for the war, which is the enterprise architecture process.

conceptual differences between Java and Microsoft world.
The technical differences between the Java world and Microsoft world are minor compared to the conceptual differences between them. While the Microsoft concept is concerned with “we’ve got excellent technology for you guys; just adjust your business to work with our products and we will fulfil your dreams”, the Java world concept works the other way around. The Java guys follow the line of “Understand your business needs and constraints and then just pick the right technology from our tool set”. You can notice this difference of concepts in each and every aspect of these different worlds.

What are Enterprise architecture patterns and how we should define them?
As you probably know design patterns are clearly defined and used broadly across the industry. So if this concept works so good for software why shouldn’t it be working for enterprise architecture as well? Why can’t we, as enterprise architectures, have certain enterprise architecture blueprints who describe the business, information, application, infrastructure architecture and even the governance process? Well, I’m playing with this idea for quite a long time and I’m starting to realize that we can create enterprise architecture patterns. -
