Comments about my last post.

I realized that some people miss interpret my post as a provocative one. I just want to clear that I just said my own Ideas so if some one want to treat them he welcome. That’s all, I just want to share with others what I found problematic.

Another point that I want to clear is that my posts are JUST from Enterprise point of view. All those ideas represent enterprise needs and not every ASP.NET user.

Here is a link to Dion Hinchcliffe blog who criticizes me, and my replay.

  • :-) well I might miss understood him due to cultural differences (I'm from Israel and here Provocative got negative meaning) .

  • Hi Natty,

Matt Berther was correct, I was trying to convey that your post was "thought provoking." In general, I agree with what you said in your original blog entry. In fact, I thought it was so interesting that I made it the lead post for my blog yesterday.

MVC 2 is definitely on the wish list for a lot of folks in the ASP.NET community. I was trying to use your timely posting to draw attention to the fact that 1) MVC 2 is not present, is much needed, and not coming soon to ASP.NET and 2) you can still do MVC 2 with ASP.NET if you don't mind rolling your own pattern.

Sorry if you felt I was criticizing you, my intent was to give you credit for taking a (appropriate) stand on an important position and putting a line in the sand that probably needs to be there.

    Best Regards,

    Dion
