PDC hotels

Well, booking hotels for PDC is getting to be a pain!  Spent two hours yesterday trying to secure a flight and hotel.

For those in the UK, the best route I found was flying KLM from Heathrow to Amsterdam to LA, especially if you fancy business class.  (3x cheaper than BA, which I would normally fly.)

Hotel wise, all of Microsoft's allocatations are gone, so you'll have to hunt around on your own.  Someone on some other blog (forget who, sorry) pointed me at the Convention Center Hotel Guide, which may be helpful.  I got a room at the Omni, so if anyone else is staying there let me know.  (Hopefully I haven't been a muppet and booked a hotel that's 400 miles from the convention centre.)
