I'm taking my son to Tony Hawk's "Boom Boom Huck Jam" event this weekend in Dallas.
What does this have to do with .NET?
I started thinking about their nifty flash-driven website and others like it. I wonder if Microsoft will ever offer a .NET equivilent to the rich, interactive UI that Macromedia provides with Flash....
Where does a Microsoft developer go to create a web-delivered multimedia experience like this?
I'm still digesting the news from PDC, but don't recall seeing anything like this in the press-notes. Today, our only options are to buy-in to Macromedia's vision, or try to kludge together ActiveX, JavaScript, and animated GIF's.
Is there something coming down the pipe?
