Safari on Windows - Browser testing just got a whole lot easier...
Funny, just last week I posted about using browsershots.org to see screenshots of your web application in a huge variety of browsers. Today, Apple announced Safari 3 runs on Windows.
Aside from screenshot services, there some other methods that pretty much worked in the past. The Swift browser runs on the open source WebKit layout engine which is also used by Safari, so at least theoretically you could get Sarari-esque browser running in Windows. Otherwise, you needed to be running a virtual machine (and potentially ignoring license restrictions) to test IE and Safari on the same machine.
Now if we could just test IE6 rendering on Vista without a VM...
