I finished “Application Development Foundation 070-536” exam
Yesterday I passed my first Microsoft exam which was 070-536 "Application Development Foundation". This is the first exam I need to pass soon I decided to earn MCTS:.NET Framework 2.0 Web Applications . I was nervous and I started answering questions carefully. I make use form "checked for review" feature available at Prometric testing client to help in reviewing my answers. I can easily eliminate tow options at least from answer options by focusing only at parameters and method names.
There were many questions about streams, COM and threading. The easiest questions were about serialization, generics and globalization. When I finished answering all questions I have another cycle to review my answers.
After that I finished and submit answers and waited my results. The first line appeared at the screen was "You need to have 700 points to pass this exam" for a moment I think that I failed and lost my chance then I saw another number in the screen which was my mark 894 so I sigh and breathe out.
The way I used to prepare myself to this exam and which I advice to use is by reading the MCTS Self-Paced Training Kit (Exam 70-536): Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0–Application Development Foundation form cover to cover. I made mistake when I did not finished the most of examples and exercises provided in the book.
I think the best way to command new things is by practicing them. I already have practiced many in real life but this exam discusses too many aspects in .Net 2.0 framework which I don't practice in my job as a web application developer. After finish reading and practicing use lesson reviews to test your performance. Make use from preparing kit and exam simulator available so you can test yourself again and again.
Why not to depend on braindumps?
Braindumps is not a good thing even they you may lead you to pass the exam. If you depend on braindumps I think they will:
- Lead you to pass: Yes, they will lead you to pass the deadlines your boss announced you should not exceed when a task is assigned to you. Thus because you are not qualified enough.
- Make you better: Yes, they will make you a better cheater not a better developer.
- Will help you: Yes, they will help you to lose confidence in yourself.
When you sleep at night the brilliant idea about you are a certified developer who is smart so he passed will vanished and the raw truth will explode in your head and shout Cheater, cheater, cheater …The main reason that certificates are founded for is to give people a way to prove their knowledge and experience and to help them to be identified from a trustworthy authority.
So if there is no knowledge and there is no experience a certificate will not give its holder any reasonable help when he needs knowledge and experience in a real world.
Study hard, and have a good time.
