Speaking at Security Day
I'll be speaking at the MSFT Security Day on March 10th.
If you live in Buenos Aires - Argentina, let me invite you to the March 10th Microsoft SecurityDay (an all day security conference).
It goes from 17:20 to 18:50, and with DiegoG we'll be giving a talk on “Implementing Application Security using the .NET Framework”. In this session for experienced developers, you will learn how to implement additional security features to secure applications built on the .NET Framework. The session will discuss security features integrated into the .NET Framework and demonstrate the use of both code access security and role-based security to limit vulnerabilities. You will also learn how to use the cryptographic provider support in the .NET Framework to encrypt and sign data. The session will also cover security best practices for Web applications and Web services built using ASP.NET.
Here is the Agenda:
- .NET Framework Security Features
- Code Access Security
- Role-Based Security
- Cryptography
- Securing ASP.NET Web Applications
- Securing ASP.NET Web Services
The meeting is free and meets here. Hope to see you there!
For those who can't make it, I will be posting the slides and code links when available.
