Getting SQL Joins

I always have to stop and think about a SQL Join before using one. Call me dumb or maybe I just don't get it. It's a block for me.

this is a nice looking guide but it is incorrect. if you were unaware of how joins worked you should be able to figure out that this is wrong solely based on the comments.
