SharePoint Team Blogs

The SharePoint team has launched a new blog to discuss topics across the SharePoint Products and Technologies family. It started off with a summary of SharePoint's role in Microsoft's collaboration story, a pretty important story to understand if you're in the business. Today they added a good post with links of the role of Business Intelligence in SharePoint with links to a few great related resources like the Excel team's blog and a BI strategy announcements page.

PJ Hough has a blog dedicated to WSS, and already he's posted screen shots of WSS 3 that you won't find anywhere else, because well, only the team can disclose what they've built and some of this detail wasn't seen at PDC. Really, does anyone remember what things were like before Scoble?

And last but not least, there's a blog dedicated to Web Content Management in SharePoint 2006 though with two posts since October it looks DOA. Which is too bad, because the changing role of MCMS is one of the most frequently-asked questions about v3, luckily there was good content in PDC session OFF313.

Reminder: The blogs mentioned in this post and more Dev Team blogs are listed in Eli's SharePoint Resources under "Community".
