CDI Education's Technology Briefing Tour: May 3 to 13

Next Tuesday I'm off on a two week, nine city tour of Canada. CDI Education is hosting these technology briefings, and the platforms we'll cover are ASP.NET, SharePoint, and SQL Server. I will be presenting the first two and Bruce Davidson will be presenting SQL Server in the Western provinces.

The ASP.NET session will examine the history and evolution of web development on Microsoft platforms. From Classic ASP through version 2, we'll uncover the pros, cons, and migration scenarios for each major version. If you're considering a move to ASP.NET from another platform or an earlier version, this is for you.

The SharePoint Products and Technologies session digs into what SharePoint is, how companies are using it to improve collaboration and visibility, and how it can be extended and customised to make it a tighter fit with enterprise apps. If you're already running Windows 2003 Server (which comes with Windows SharePoint Services) or are considering SharePoint Portal Server as an intranet solution, this is for you.

The dates and daily schedule follow, as well as a link to RSVP your attendance. Admission is free, space is limited, register today!
