Waiting for the first Indigo talk?

Why should I wait?

The HOL section for Indigo is pretty empty right now. We're talking about 15 machines with Longhorn, the SDK and Whidbey loaded, ready with exercises to get your first run through some Indigo classes.

You also have Indigo team members there answering your questions.

I just talked to one of them and the very, very good news is that the vision behind Indigo is still about open standards and interoperability. And these features are avaiable when you need them! To the outside, Indigo services communicate over XML/SOAP  using the WS-(Security|Transaction|Policy|ReliableMessaging|Addressing) standards.

If you're only talking to local services you can do so via optimized channels, i.e. the communication is based on SOAP, but doesn't need to be a text-based representation of the message or HTTP.

Over all, I just have one work for it: Sweet!
