My Ink Annotation Problem in Outlook
I am having a problems adding annotations to emails in Outlook and I can’t seem to find anything in the newsgroups or the knowledge base.
It seems like I can’t to get ink annotations to work in Outlook email since I first installed SP2 RC1. The “Ink Annotations” item on the Insert menu is always grayed out when I write email as shown in the next screenshot, but they work fine in Word running stand-alone and in other Office applications like PowerPoint and Excel. The screenshot also shows that despite writing email in HTML format, I still can’t add ink annotations.
I am able to insert Ink drawings and Ink comments even with Ink annotations disables. When I add the “Ink annotations” tool bar to the email editor window, the button to insert ink annotations is grayed out, but all other buttons, including the eraser are enabled as you can see in the next screenshot.
