Launch Day
This past week has been pretty darn busy, actually, so far 2007 has been pretty darn busy. At work we've been cranking away on a pretty large project built upon DotNetNuke. It's like nothing I've seen done successfully with DNN before, so it'll be interesting to see when this latest version goes public how well it does. It's rewarding, but a damn lot of work lately. I can't wait for February. I keep telling myself in February I'm going to start working on my car again, www.project240z.com

I skinned a Community Server site, what a pain!
I've skinned, or tweaked a CommunityServer site before, but what I must admin, it's definitely not an easy process, and not something I'd want anyone to have to go through!

DNN Daily Tip: Debugging DotNetNuke Development on Windows Vista and Visual Studio 2005
Last week I got started on getting the DotNetNuke Wiki module into a 4.4.0 source solution, so that I could convert the module to ASP.NET 2.0 and debug it in Visual Studio. Normally this wouldn't be anything out of the ordinary, I setup DotNetNuke solutions for a living, I can do it in my sleep, but I decided I was going to do all of this on my main machine running Windows Vista Ultimate edition.

Does anyone know anything about Mix07 coming up in April? I'm curious who one would contact about session information. I tried using an email address from the www.mix07.com site but of course it gets returned. Anyone at MS have any contacts they can forward my way? I'd apprecaite the help.

A celebration video of the Zune
In celebration of the Zune now working on Windows Vista I put together a little video last night. I actually filmed this back on November 14th, the day I got my Zune, I just hadn't taken the time to do anything with the video until last night while I was waiting for my Zune to fully Sync with Vista.

Something new from Flickr?
I emailed Flickr the other day asking if there were other options for their Accounts. I have a Pro account which allows me to upload 2gigs of photos a month. That may sound like alot, and most months it can be for me, but this month I got married and went on our honeymoon, so I knew I'd be posting a lot of photos, both from the wedding and the honeymoon.

While looking around for a Zune SDK this evening I found a way to use your Zune as an external storage device. I haven't yet tested this, so I can't guarantee it works yet.

Vista Release Installed at home
Well, I spent most of the day today doing a few things around the house. First, I took the good wheels off the Tahoe and put the stock wheels and tires back on. I figured that with Winter upon us I'd rather leave the shiney wheels down in the basement.
