I really dig the Research Desktop, I cant imagine it being all that difficult to just start phasing some of these tools in now!

Your presented with a gadget hanging on the top right of your display, which is broken down into four key areas:

Activities : Seems equivalent to workspace management, creating, managming, switching, etc..

Tools : Tools for analyzing data in the current browser, based on a search, etc..

Library : Your own personal library to store your documents, analyze the data, etc..

Notes : Plan, sketch, outline thoughts, jot notes down on documents, snippets of content, URLs, etc.. 

It supports dragging and dropping content/urls, etc.. to and from the Research Bar and sub components adds/opens, etc..  Very slick if you ask me.  Sign me up for the beta program!
