Implementing a selection box for Google Maps
This method only works with the first version of Google Maps. It does not work with the latest API. I have not had the time to update the code but I am sure if you search Google you will find an implementation using the latest API.
I really like Google Maps but one thing that has been bothering me for a while was the inability to select an area on the map to zoom into. -

Community Server : Simple way to group blog entries by date
I could not find a way to group blog entries by date using Community Server by Telligent Systems (Free Trial here!) so I decided to write one by simply modifying the skin (I did not want to make changes to the CS code)
Locate the Skin-EntryList.ascx page in your selected Theme and add the following:
(Note the Import Namespace Tag!) -
Adobe Acrobat 7, Changing the Websearch from Yahoo to Google
Adobe Acrobat 7 includes a Yahoo toolbar integrated into the reader if you choose to install it. If Google is your preferred search engine, you can easily change the integrated search to use Google instead of Yahoo.
