Free e-Book - "Budget Design: Increase Profit by Improving Process"

For those who don't read Didier Hilhorst and Dan Rubin's weblog, Superfluous Banter, I thought I'd drop a line about their new e-Book "Budget Design: Increase Profit by Improving Process." It's a short little read, but it's the type of stuff anyone doing web work should be down with. And it's free for a short period of time (I think four more days...)

Even if you haven't heard of them before, I'm willing to bet you've seen their work recently. They are behind the design of the NewsGator's site. It has not only a beautiful graphical design, but it's also put together with beautiful HTML and CSS. Do a view source on the NewsGator site and tell me that you should be reading their e-Book.

This is my 200th post, by the way. I was holding off this post so I could write something profound and mind-shattering. Something that english majors from the 24th century would look back upon as the definitive literary work of the 21st century. But then I decided that's just not my style. But I do want to drop a line giving mad props to Scott for setting this up. It's been a fun journey. I remember when he first posted up the main dotnetweblogs.com site where all the feeds were aggregated together, and seeing my name right next to .NET giants like Sam Gentile and Drew Marsh was definitely cool. And now this post will probably be sandwiched between posts by recruiters from Microsoft, wild man from Ireland or a news anchor / web developer from Guam. Good times. Good times.
