Cisco CCNA Training - Day One
I am in total awe of the things I have learned today from attending the CCNA220 at [itt]. The good majority of the day has been lab-oriented. It is hard to believe what I have accomplished in just one day. Here is a list of contributing factors regarding today's great experience:
- The instructor - Mike Storm
- Real Cisco gear to configure
- Requirement-based labs (no step-by-step nonsense)
- Team-based activities (we all learned from one another)
- Interactive courseware (fill in the blanks, circle correct keywords, etc...)
Before today, I had never issued one IOS command. By the end of the day, I was configuring switches and hosts as if I had been doing it for a long time. This course labs implemented a brilliant means of repetition without me knowing it. Everyone in the class accomplished complex tasks in a relatively short period of time.
Kudos to Mike Storm for developing such a great class. I look forward to day two!
