Enterprise architecture is the dentistry of the IT world! Yes, like people who tend not to pay a visit to the dentist until they can't stand the pain. IT organization tend not to take seriously (or even to ignore) enterprise architecture until it really hearts. You can go to the dentist and prevent your pains and you can start taking seriously EA and prevent pains, but for some reasons people not tend to do so.
