This video has IJH* all over it. It is an interesting view of the direction that we're taking in the next ten years.
My primary thought around this kind of convergence, where everything is tailored to a person's profile and habits, is that it is counter to the value of diversity in our lives: the old adage "variety is the spice of life" comes to mind. How would my interests and horizons expand when everything I encounter is filtered by my current habits?
What if the same kind of personalized, customized filtration happened to the gene pool?

*IJH - "In Joel's Head" - a term (of endearment) we use to describe ideas that Joel gets that he wonders why the rest of us haven't already thought of. If we succeed on a project, it's usually because we "got" the IJH factor and we implemented features the way Joel wanted them done. It's foolish to ignore IJH because he's pretty much always right.
