"Source" of my anger...

ok...a few of you wanted to know exactly what I was all riled up over.  The API was Visual SourceSafe automation.

The sample app entitled "OLE Sample Code Written in Visual Basic .NET and C# " is the first worthwhile sample code to come out of the VSS team in oh...lets say about 5 freakin years! (it shows publish date of Feb12, 2003).

It just so happens that it's an excellent WinForms app that near-perfectly mimics the original VSS 6.0 explorer.  And although the object model for the API wrapper is a bit weak, it performs its duties admirably as a simple Helper class..

If your wondering...yes I still plan to finish my VSS project, but with alot less fanfare now that my proverbial bubble has burst...
