Everywhere I look, there's Paul Wilson.
I picked up a copy of Dino Esposito's “Programming Microsoft ASP.NET” yesterday - I've only read a bit of it, but it seems pretty good so far. What was interesting to me is when I was reading the credits in the forward:
"Next are the 24x7 people, available at all times, who in a way or the other, directly or indirectly, contributed tips, tricks, suggestions, advice, gotchas, or simply their own work that I used as a resource. They are, in no particular order, Jeff Prosise, Jason Clark, John Lam, Francesco Balena, Jeffrey Richter, Peter Debetta, Berni McCoy, John Robbins, Don Kiely, and Paul Wilson."
As I've been reading the book, I see a few spots where Dino has been influenced by some of Paul's ideas. That's got to be something to be someone who helps shape the way 'things are just done.'
I also think it's quite an honor to be mentioned in the same breath as Richter and Prosise! Congrats, Paul...
