Adobe Acrobat annoying behaviour

Acrobat is really annoying each time a document is opened.  It does some kind of screen reader preparation that I don’t care and shows this dialog for a few seconds:

How to get rid of that?  In the Acrobat preferences menu, click on the Reading category and select Only read the currently visible pages from the Page vs Document dropdown list.
