Teched 2006: day 1

Today was the first day of Teched 2006. I spent most of the day attending to sessions and having interesting conversations on the Connected Systems area. I particularly enjoyed the session “Putting the user back in SOA” delivered by Simon Guest.

Simon explained key concepts (visualization, foundation and context) in order to build really productive user interfaces. He also covered important topics like how to correctly include the user interface in the development lifecycle as well as methods for testing user interfaces.
