BEA continues releasing new stuff:

 

  • BEA has announced the general availability of Tuxedo 9.0, the newest version of their high-end transaction manager. Tuxedo is designed to provide transaction management for C, C++, and COBOL, and integrates with BEA's AquaLogic platform.According to BEA, "The BEA Tuxedo system is analogous to a Service Request Broker (SRB) and provides a service-oriented infrastructure for efficiently routing, dispatching, and managing requests, events, and application queues across BEA Tuxedo processes and applications."
  • BEA has made an updated version of JRockit 5.0 available for download at http://commerce.bea.com/products/weblogicjrockit/5.0/jr_50.jsp.This update bundles J2SE 5.0 Update 3 and includes support for the Memory Leak Detector tool. This version of JRockit supports Linux and Windows on x86 an Itanium, and adds support for Intel EM64T and AMD64, see the supported configurations for details. The next JRockit 5.0 release will contain a port Solaris/Sparc. AIX and HP-UX ports are also coming.
