Windows Forms Grids

If you are building a Windows Forms App that needs to use grids, run, do not walk to Janus Systems and purchase the GridEX NOW!  I do not work for them.  I do not even know them.  This Grid is MONEY and worth every dollar you spend one it.  The support is incredible and the functionality built into this Grid blows me away every day.

  • OK, so you're saying you like that grid :-)

  • Greg - the way you said that is confusing. Did you mean "do not walk, but RUN to..."

Yes from me. You know that I'm a HUGE fan of Janus!!

Have you ever seen the phenomenal story of the company. Component Source has it on their website under "about the company" or something.

  • I couldn't agree more about the quality of the support from the Janus folks; and the grid is certainly feature packed, but it is still *very* slow when rendering with themed appearance (despite recent performance improvements), and there are a number of peculiarities in the API which could do with a bit of refactoring.

I have no doubt that they'll overcome these problems in time, however. But I'd still evaluate the other options out there against your needs.

  • Whew, that's good, willy-nilly copying of tags leads to bad things(tm) :)
