Abstract:
SharePoint Web Content Management for Enterprise Developers
We will walk though a pattern that has proved successful to enable large scale, multi-lingual web content management systems for use in achieving the following goals:
1) Reduce the burden of the Content managers when creating new sites and sections of sites that repeat.
2) Enable the localization of the solution for any language SharePoint supports.
THERE WILL BE NO CODE – While there will be a significant amount of XML presented (I don’t count that as code but some will disagree), there will be no actual code used that is not a part of the SharePoint Framework. While most projects require custom development as well, this is not the focus of this talk. We will discuss HOW to integrate your custom application functionality into this framework.
