Who Else Wants to Be Geek Famous?
While reviewing one of the seemingly hundreds of retrospectives on what happened in 2007, I came a cross Fortune Magazine's 101 Dumbest Moments in Business: Top tech flops.
Laughing along at listings from the ridiculous to the outrageous I stopped when I noticed a recognizable name.
Didier Stevens has been a listener to the Polymorphic Podcast from the very beginning. In fact Didier was one of the first listeners to email the show.
Didier is an IT security professional and seems to have a clever curiousity about how security works in the real world. Read about Didier's experiment to test how the Google ad machine may be used for ill intent here. This experiment led to the listing in Fortune's Top tech flops here. Way to do Didier!
So, do you want to be famous? Do what Didier does and just add a little curiousity to what you might find as mundane and you never know what might happen.
I am glad to know Didier not just because he is more famous than I am, but because his is decidedly smarter than I am!
